Cannot see server in the list

Hi everyone,

as of this morning (Nov 30th), I cannot see the server in the list of servers. The launcher starts fine but there are only 4 other servers in the list.

Is this only at my end or do you have the same problem?

Working on it. DSprocess manager loads the server, connects to fl hook and then shuts down because it isn't connected to hook. It's looping

thanks for looking into the matter. I have no knowledge on how this works - I only noticed that in the morning the list had 4, now 5 servers, so other servers can have this issue too.

I keep my fingers crossed and wait hoping!

EDIT: One minute later I tried it again, your server is now on the list but will not connect.

I juat replaced the files that restart the server automatically. If that doesn't work I'll reinstall the game.

OK. Here we go. TWC says we are under a DDOS. I will try the server again in the AM. Either whoever is doing this will run o7ut of money paying for DDOS or TWC will get my new IP set up. Bad news is it can take 15 days for the new IP BUT they most likley cannot keep up the attack that long. The server IP was also being redirected but that was fixed. I'm going to get a dyn dns and put that thru to GC so players with Micro-PP's who get mad cannot directly attack the server.

Any ?? I'll be on TS on and off.

I added the 8 gb ram today and turned the server on. I ran it for almost 2 hours with no problems but as soon as I plugged it into the internet it went down within 30 sec. This sucks.

yeah i totally agree this kind of behavior is just ridiculous keyboard warriors really piss me off they sit in there home and think they rule the world i come from a different world these aholes need more than hockey sticks a visit to their house and a .22 to the kneecap would suffice

My tcp/ip settings on automatic and I can use internet. No problems. However, FL server requires fixed settings and no matter which computer I try the server loads up and immediately goes to full red for server load and crashes. My provider is getting me a new IP but it will take awhile. I'll change everything over when I get it and we may need to manually add it to launcher like when we first started until GC adds it in. The problem is it could happen again if the person doing thi has more money than brains. There are a couple things I can do once the server is restarted but I have to wait for new IP. Still checking in on TS a couple times a day for chats if yo7u need me.

OK. I got an anti-ddos dll from one of the chaps at TSP. I need to upgrade windows to run it so that's what I'll be doing Sunday. Cross your fingers.

OK. I can see it in the list when it's on but it crashes when I try to log in. Still under attack. I'm going to try messing with the files but it might just come down to out-waiting them or waiting for my inet to finally change my address.

Well, I hope to get a few other games working when I get my new system put together, but freespace won't be one for awhile since my joystick died long ago...

Of course, I also need the joy stick for my mechwarriors games and maybe to smack my room mate now and then since it might help the thing work better?
